Switching checklist This checklist will help make sure you’re ready, and have everything you need, to switch to a new energy plan. I have the Basic Plan Information document or the energy company’s written summary of the plan. This document lists all the important information about the plan like: the type of rate – time of use or single rate how long the plan is for any fees and discounts.
